Most of the information you need to customize is located on the first page of your pamphlet. Here is a quick list of things you’ll need to change: 

• Name of library 

• Library website URL 

• Library website QR code 

• Hours of operation 

• Phone number 

• Address 

• Library logos

• Lending periods 

• Fees and Fines 

Optional things you can change: 

• color palette 

• Fonts  

Name of Library  

• located at the top of the title page 

• replace “Townsville Public Library” with your Library’s name 

Library website URL 

• located below the QR code in the middle panel of the first page 

• Go to your library’s website and copy the URL from the search bar at the top. 

• Paste your URL to replace “townsvillepubliclibrary.ab.ca” 

Library website QR code 

• Located on the middle panel of the first page 

• Select the QR code, and click “edit” from the pop up menu. 

• Replace the current URL with your library’s website URL 

• Press “Update code” 

Hours of Operation 

• Located in the middle of the middle panel on the first page 

• Replace the hours with those of your library 

Phone number + Address 

• Located at the bottom of the middle panel on the first page 

• Change the phone number to your library’s 

• Change the address to your library’s 

Library Logos

• There are two logos to update - One located at the bottom of the middle panel on the first page, and one on the top of the cover page next to your library name.

• Add your library’s logo to the pamphlet by clicking “Uploads” on the left side menu. 

• Select “Upload Files” and choose your file from your computer (Alternatively, you can drag and drop the file straight onto the pamphlet from your desktop or downloads) 

• If needed, remove the background of your logo by selecting it and clicking “BG Remover” from the pop-up menu. 

• Position the logo over the sample. 

Library of Things 

• Located on the first panel of the second page 

• Edit, delete, or add any non-traditional items your library has available for rent. 

Lending Periods 

• Located on the first panel of the second page 

• Edit, delete, or add any specific lending period guidelines 

Fees and Fines 

• Located on the middle panel of the second page 

• Edit, delete, or add any specific fees and fines for your library 

OPTIONAL: 

Color Palette + Fonts 

• Select “Design” from the left side menu 

• Select the “Styles” menu 

• Add a custom color palette/ font set or select one from canva’s options. 

NOTE: Changing the fonts will change the size and position of the text. If you choose to change the fonts, make sure you look through your pamphlet and resize anything you need to.
