Knowledge Base: NLLS Policies

1. Purpose

Northern Lights Library System (NLLS) provides gym facilities for employee use to support workplace wellness and physical activity. Employees and other authorized users may access the facility under the conditions outlined in this policy.

2. Usage & Eligibility

1. Authorized Users – The gym is available to:
   • NLLS employees.
   • Building tenants.
   • Adult guests accompanied by an employee or tenant.
2. Waiver Requirement – All users must:
   • Sign and submit the Gym Usage Liability Waiver (Appendix J) to the Executive Director.
3. Guest Access – Guests must be accompanied by an NLLS employee or building tenant at all times.

3. Liability & Assumption of Risk

• All gym users acknowledge that use of the equipment is at their own risk.
• NLLS assumes no liability for injuries or accidents occurring in the facility.
• The full liability waiver is included in Appendix J – Gym Usage Liability Waiver.
