7.0 MEMBERSHIP FEES
7.1 “Resident” is defined as a person or household who lives in the Town of Viking or Beaver County or pays property or business taxes to one of the municipalities.
7.2 “Non Resident” is a person or household who resides outside of the Town of Viking, or Beaver County, and does not pay property or business taxes.
7.3 Resident fees may be charged to those people/households residing outside of the Town of Viking, or Beaver County but who pay property/business taxes to a municipality currently a member of Northern Lights Library System.
7.4 Fee structure: Residents

7.5 Fee Structure: Non-residents
Individual $35.00

7.6 The Board reserves the right to review the amounts charged.
7.7 In accordance with Northern Lights policy, a non-resident patron refers to a patron living in an area that does not make provision for full library services. The amount charged reflects the Northern Lights non-resident fee plus Viking Municipal Library’s card fee. The Board reserves the right to add a non-resident fee if deemed appropriate.
7.8 Memberships will expire after one year.
7.9 Parents/guardians shall be responsible for any costs incurred by their charges.
7.10 With an automated circulation desk, every individual under a family membership must be issued their own library card number. This will speed circulation transactions and allow for more accurate, meaningful statistics.
