Cardholder Fees & Renewals

Answer

  1. Cardholder fees must be paid on an annual basis by all cardholders of the Vegreville Centennial Library.
  2. Annual, for the purposes of cardholders, means from the date of payment of the cardholder fee to the same date the following year. If a cardholder renews their library card before it expires, only the year of expiry will be changed, not the day or month. If a cardholder renews their card after it has expired, the day and month shall be changed to the current date.
  3. The fee schedule is listed in the Vegreville Centennial Library Bylaws and is subject to change at the discretion of the Board.
  4. Cardholder fees vary by age of cardholder. Non-Residents pay a fee in addition to the fees they would normally pay if they resided within the Northern Lights Library System.
  5. Should a patron who holds a Library card in good standing from a library within the TRAC Consortium move to the Vegreville area, that patron's library card will be transferred to a Vegreville Centennial Library card for the remainder of their original cardholder year at no charge to the patron.
