- Any person who utilizes any of the services of the Tofield Municipal Library is a patron of the library.
- Patrons may also be referred to as users, borrowers, members, clientele, the public, or temporary residents.
- Patrons may be either members or non-members of the library.
- Patrons may or may not borrow materials from the library, depending on their membership status.
