- Advocacy should be the responsibility of the whole Board.
- Our advocacy policy should be so guided that the Library becomes the forefront of the community.
- Activities which support the policy should be:
- Letters from library supporters.
- Letters to the Minister
- Letters to the MLA
- Letters to the MP
- Presentation to Town Council and letters to councillors
- Participation at election time re: library issues
- Elicit support of the Business Community
- Elicit support of the public at large
- Partner with other organizations.
