Leap - How do I export a record set into Excel?

How do I print a record set?

How do I make a pull list from a record set?

Answer

Situation:

You would like to print a list of the items in a record set, but want more control over the results than Leap allows.

Requirements:

Instructions:

Once you have your record set, click the "Actions" button near the top of the screen and choose "Export".

Tip: If you find that the Export option is not appearing, ensure the Owner of the record set is your library, not your Leap/Polaris username. Change the owner in the dropdown menu below Owner, then click Save. The Export option should then appear on the Actions menu.

In the window that opens, name your file, then click "Export".

The file will save to your computer, usually to your Downloads folder.

Currently, it is easier and cleaner to export your record set to Excel to print, rather than to print a record set from your browser in Leap. You may want to use Excel to delete unnecessary information before printing, sort your items by call number or author, or adjust your print settings in various ways.
