In SimplyReports you can save reports to run later on. You can also schedule reports to run at specific times, e.g. weekly.

Instructions:

  1. Save the report. Once you have generated a report you want, SimplyReports gives you the option to "save report parameters for later use". Give the report a name and click to save it.

     
  2. Find the report you want to view/schedule.
    Look under the "My Reports" tab, and select the type of report it is from the list, e.g. "Patron list reports". (You can also shift+click to select all the report types and view all your saved reports).
    Select the report you want, check mark it, and click "schedule reports"

  3. Set the schedule parameters. On the next screen, you can choose how often you want the list to run. Make sure to fill out the schedule name, description, and set the schedule start date. E.g. Under "schedule options" you can choose "run weekly on (day of week)"


     
  4. Find your scheduled reports later on. Once the reports start to populate, you'll be able to see them under "My reports> File maintenance > schedule jobs".


     
  5. Share with others (as needed). Unfortunately these reports can't be saved centrally to share between Simply Reports users. Anyone who wants to see this report would need to create it fresh, save it, and schedule it under their own SimplyReports account. For this reason, you may want to appoint one person to be responsible for creating a report under their account, and signing in regularly to download it and share out to others.
