If Reports and Notices will not open, and the error message “An exception has occurred: Attempting to deserialize an empty stream.”
If you cannot open the Reports and Notices, follow these simple steps:

1. Click the start button within the Polaris Client: 
2. Select Documents:
3. Then Select My Reports:
4. Delete all of the non-PDFs.
