What do I need to know about Communication Channels for NLLS?

Over the past few years, NLLS has introduced some new communication channels, and changed they way we use some of our older tools. This has resulted in some growing pains and a bit of confusion about where to go to find the information you are looking for. How can I use these tools most effectively?
