How do I Access the new STEAM kit booking dashboard?

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO TO ACCESS THE NEW BOARD?

  1. Click the link below and Sign up to Trello with your Microsoft User account. This is your regular password and email address.

  1. When it requests Permissions, Click the box that says, “Consent on behalf of your organization.”

  1. Confirm your details. Enter the Verification code that has been automatically sent to you.

  1. If you think you will use Trello for project management, go ahead and rename your workspace to something groovy! (I personally use Trello for tracking projects, so it definitely has my vote of approval)

  1. Skip the free trial of Trello Premium—you won’t need it to view the STEAM Kit Board.

  1. To View the STEAM KIT BOOKING Dashboard in the browser, go to WORKSPACES tab and select Northern Lights. All Northern Lights Boards will Appear here (eventually this will include our Story Walk Kits Booking Dashboard)

    1. To view all of the STEAM kits and the details of the kits, view the dashboard in “BOARD” view—you can click on any existing cards and read the details, but you cannot make changes.
    2. To view the current bookings in Calendar form, view the dashboard in “Calendar” view – you can view all of the bookings, but you will be unable to make any changes.

  1. To View the STEAM KIT BOOKING in the Teams App (suggested option) go to the NLLS Libraries General Channel where you will find it in the Tabs at the top of the channel, as well as “recently added” to the Posts on the main page. Click on either link and it will give you access to view. You might have to log in as yourself one time, but after that you will have ready access to the site.

  1. To place a request, please check kit availability (Calendar view), and then submit a ticket through Ask@nlls.ab.ca
