How to access Parkland's OverDrive materials with your TRAC card?

How to access Parkland Regional Library System's Overdrive content as a TRAC member using the Overdrive website or the Libby app.


TRAC members can now search, borrow and place holds on titles from Parkland Regional Library System (PRLS)

Checkout and hold limits apply only to the library being used. Library card members now have a 10 titles every 30 days for both TRAC AND PRLS.

The system gives preference to patrons whose home library card matches theOverDrive library being used. Holds placed within the TRAC OverDrive will be given preference to TRAC members and vice versa with PRLS

2 Ways for NLLS patrons to Access PRLS collection

OverDrive Website:

  • Visit TRAC's OverDrive Home Page
  • Click on the Partner Libraries, located at the top of the page, and select Parkland Regional Library
  • First visit step. The Parkland Regional Library System Welcome Page: Under Select your Library, choose TRAC Consortium
  • Sign in with your TRAC library card and pin 
  • You can now browse, borrow and place holds from the PRLS OverDrive collection

Libby App IOS / Android

  • Tap the menu icon (Libby icon or 3 parallel lines) at the bottom centre of any page
  • Under the Your Libraries title, tap the Add Library button --> search for Parkland Regional Library and tap
  • Tap Enter Library Account Details/Sign in With My Card
  • Under "Where do you use your library card?", scroll down to the Partner Libraries section and choose TRAC Consortium as the library where you use your card
  • Sign in with your TRAC library card and pin
  • You can now browse, borrow and place holds from the PRLS OverDrive collection
  • To switch between browsing/searching TRAC's or PRLS' OverDrive collection, tap the menu icon at the bottom centre. Under the Your Libraries section, choose the library system you wish to browse/search. The currently-selected system will have be starred.

Checkouts and Holds from both TRAC and PRLS will appear on your Shelf

Access to a second collection has been made possible because of a reciprocal lending agreement between TRAC and the Parkland Regional Library System.
